Jane Street’s 7th Annual Women in STEM

This summer, Jane Street is hosting the seventh annual Jane Street Women in STEM event. We are inviting women between their senior year of high school and freshman year of college to spend a couple of days in our New York City headquarters to learn more about what we do.

Students who are selected to attend this event will receive an in-depth look into the ways we use math, computer science and probability concepts in trading, as well as insight into the different roles that exist within our firm. Participants will hear from and interact with various traders and technologists, and learn how they transitioned from their college concentrations in STEM fields to a career at Jane Street.

Selected students will arrive in New York the evening of Sunday, July 28th and will depart the evening of Tuesday, July 30th. All travel to and from New York, housing and meal expenses will be covered by Jane Street. Our office is in the heart of the Financial District, and the hotel is a few blocks from our office. Click here to learn more about it! The deadline to apply for this event is Thursday, June 27th, 2019 at 11:59pm EST. We will update you on your application status the week of July 1st.

SEM 2018-2019 Yearbooks

We will distribute pre-purchased yearbooks on Monday, May 13th and Wednesday, May 15th after school in front of the SEM office.

On Wednesday, if there are any remaining books, they will be sold on a first come, first serve basis for $35.00.

SEM Summer PE

Please complete the following link for SEM Summer PE. Summer PE starts on Monday, June 3rd through Friday, June 21st, 2019, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.

In order to receive credit, you must attend everyday. Bus is not provided.
By completing Summer PE enrollment link you understand the requirements and will attend daily.
